Q. Are my files safe?
Yes. We use military-grade encryption during transfer, and your files are permanently deleted from our servers automatically within 15 minutes of your conversion finishing.
Q. Is there a file size limit?
Currently, you can upload files up to 100MB each. If you need to compress larger files, please use our Image Compressor or PDF Compressor tools first.
Q. Why did my conversion fail?
Conversions usually fail for three reasons:
1. The uploaded file is corrupted or unreadable.
2. The PDF is password-protected (Please use our "Unlock PDF" tool first).
3. Your internet connection dropped during the upload.
Q. Can I use this on my phone?
Absolutely. FormatConverter is 100% mobile responsive. You can convert files directly from your iPhone or Android browser without installing any apps.
